ZANNIS was born from a place where precision is not optional and intention carries consequence.
It was founded by Dr. John Zannis, a renowned plastic surgeon and lifelong artist whose work has always lived at the intersection of science, beauty, and memory.
In the operating room, Dr. Zannis learned that beauty is not excess, but precision—and that what endures most is how someone feels afterward. Confidence and self-realization are emotional imprints, not measurements.
Guided by classical ideals and modern neuroscience, he developed Olfactory NeuroDesign™: the intentional design of scent to shape emotion, identity, and remembrance. The atelier (workshop) is is a place of thoughtful creation.
At ZANNIS, fragrance is composed the way architecture is designed—through structure first, expression second. Each formulation begins with intent. Each material is chosen for a distinct purpose.
Our atelier blends old-world discipline with modern technique. Raw materials are studied for their emotional impact, molecular behavior, and memory resonance. Compositions are refined until nothing unnecessary remains.

CODEX
The Codex is the law of the house which governs every decision—creative, material, and philosophical.
We believe:

Every fragrance released under the ZANNIS name must align with the Codex. If it does not honor memory, proportion, and intent, it is not made. If it does not help the wearer in their transformational journey and create an undeniable imprint, it is not released.
